    Monday 4-5pm


    Experience - have taken at least 1 session of beginner lessons 

    Knowledge - Have a very basic understanding of what all the fundamental strokes are (forehands, backhands, volleys, over heads, serves)

    Skill - Have the hand eye coordination to bounce the ball on racquet to self on the spot a few times.  Can make contact and hit the ball over the net often if dropped beside you or hit friendly right to you.  

    Competing - do not need to know how to play a match but maybe have an idea of scoring system 


    The session is 8 weeks long, from May 6 - June 24
    Class size is limited to 8 students.

    Experience - No experience required, but past participation in our Mini Tennis program is helpful

    Knowledge - None required, emphasis of the class will be on fundamentals of technique 

    Equipment - If the student does not have a racquet of their own, we provide them for the duration of the lesson.  These racquets must be returned to the desk at the end of each class.  Non-marking running shoes are required, and shorts and water bottle are also recommended.

    Experience: Should have experience in lessons at a Beginner to Intermediate Level

    Skill - Should be comfortable with basic strokes and be able to maintain a rally of 4-5 balls with a partner.  Basic knowledge of serving technique also recommended

    Competing - Should have basic knowledge of scoring system and rules of the court

    The session runs for 8 weeks, May 6 to June 24, 2019

    Experience - Have taken intermediate lessons for a session or two and have played for a few years with steady improvement.  

    Knowledge - Have an even stronger grasp of the technique of each shot, and know when to use it in a rally or point.  Understand terminology such as cross court, down the line, baseline, service line, approach shot, ground stroke etc.

    Skill - Can have a controlled rally of 5+ balls back and forth from baseline.  Are able to transition/approach to net from a baseline rally and execute a volley of ball is hit to you.  Can consistently get serve in.

    Competing - Can play a match with proper scoring, positioning, switching ends etc. on own with out much assistance at all.

    Experience - Have taken many lessons and have played for many years

    Knowledge - Have a strong grasp on the technique of each shot, and have a variety of patterns you can use to try and win points.  

    Skill - Can not only hit each stroke fairly consistently, but can place them cross court, down the line, short, deep etc. around the court 

    Competing - Can play a match on your own completely unassisted. 


    Class size is limited to 8 players.
