2019 Lessons & Fees 

Please Note: You must be a registered member of the NCTC to sign up for Adult & Junior Lessons

(Mini-Tennis does not require membership).

 

Adults $80*

Junior $65*

Mini $45* (ages 4-7 years old)

Fees are for 8 x 1 hour group lessons


Adult & Junior lessons are available at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. All group lessons are 1 hour sessions for 8 weeks. The first 8-week session starts the week of May 6th. The second 8-week session starts July 15th. Days and times of lessons will be available at registration. Sign up for lessons are done on a first come, first served basis. Spots are limited. It is recommended that you attend registration day for the best availability.


Mini Tennis

Mini tennis Lessons for 4 to 7 year-olds (no fee for membership). These lessons are designed specifically for young children. They will be using lightweight junior racquets and mini-nets. The emphasis is on learning with a smile, building self-esteem and developing co-ordination skills. See the 2019 lesson schedule below for days & times.

    Skill - Should be comfortable with basic strokes and be able to maintain a rally of 4-5 balls with a partner.  Basic knowledge of serving technique also recommended

    Experience - Have taken intermediate lessons for a session or two and have played for a few years with steady improvement.  

    Knowledge - Have an even stronger grasp of the technique of each shot, and know when to use it in a rally or point.  Understand terminology such as cross court, down the line, baseline, service line, approach shot, ground stroke etc.

    Skill - Can have a controlled rally of 5+ balls back and forth from baseline.  Are able to transition/approach to net from a baseline rally and execute a volley of ball is hit to you.  Can consistently get serve in.

    Competing - Can play a match with proper scoring, positioning, switching ends etc. on own with out much assistance at all.

    Skill - Can not only hit each stroke fairly consistently, but can place them cross court, down the line, short, deep etc. around the court 

    Competing - Can play a match on your own completely unassisted.
